Club Racer 2018/2019
Hello Club Racers!
You may not know this but we are the longest running indoor cycling program in Calgary dating back to 1998.
Thank you to the members who were part of the past the present and our future Club Racer athletes who continue to strive for success in cycling!
The Canadian Sport Institute (CSI) Calgary is looking forward to providing another great year of cycling programs for individuals who are serious about training!
Details: The Adult Cycling Program is an indoor training program designed for the mature athlete interested in developing cycling skills and improving their general fitness. On their own bikes, participants learn how to pedal efficiently and train in heart rate and power zones to achieve their individual cycling goals. This competitive but “at your own pace” atmosphere builds efficiencies that can be transferred to the road. It takes a special kind of coach to motivate the seasoned cyclist, and our certified coaches will lead athletes through a fun and social 22-week program.

Access to the building: You will need to get an access card from the Olympic Oval front desk. Please arrive in time to complete the sign on process before your first session.
Bike etiquette entering the building: We are asked that bikes are brought into the Oval through the basement to access the South Storage training area.
There are 2 ways to access this:
1. From the Oval front desk take the elevator on the main floor down to the basement, then scan your card by the double doors.
2. Or from outside the loading ramp on the South side by the University Outdoor Program centre.
If you don’t have your access card there is a phone by the double doors you can call the front desk and they can let you in.
