FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 10th, 2022

CALGARY – The Canadian Sport Institute Calgary (CSI Calgary) is proud to announce its new community partnership with Hayloft Café and Rosso Coffee Roasters, in which registered athletes can receive an online URL that offers wholesale pricing on Rosso Coffee Roasters’ products exclusively through Hayloft Café.

Owned and operated by Canadian National Team Speed Skater Hayden Mayeur, Hayloft Café YYC is Calgary’s premium mobile café, offering exclusively Rosso Coffee Roasters’ products. "As a current member of the Canadian National Long Track Speed Skating Team, I have to say it's an absolute pleasure to be able to work closely with CSI Calgary and its athletes.

“CSI Calgary has played a huge role in my career thus far and I know how important it can be to have access to affordable goods and services. Chasing the dream of qualifying for a spot at the Olympic and Paralympic Games is one I believe I share with most, if not all athletes at CSI Calgary, and it's with great pleasure that I am able to help offer you all some amazing coffee at far lower costs."

Rosso Coffee Roasters is a Canadian company operating out of Calgary since 2007, when it opened its first café location in Ramsay. Rosso sources its beans from 10 countries and works hand-in-hand with coffee producers to raise funds to help quality improvements, infrastructure, and community-based initiatives. “Rosso Coffee Roasters is honored to be partnered with Hayloft Cafe. Over the last year, since this partnership was established, Hayden has given us so much insight into the everyday needs of his fellow athletes”, said Dan Amador, Sales Manager, Rosso Coffee Roasters. “We are proud to support CSI Calgary athletes with this initiative and hope you enjoy every drop of our sustainably sourced Rosso coffees in your home”. “We are very excited to support the endeavors of our athletes at CSI Calgary,” said Gary Davies, Chief Executive Officer, CSI Calgary. “Signing a small business that is Canadian-owned and locally-operated by one of our athletes is completely aligned with our mission and vision to elevate the athletes and build champions.”
