Sport Scientist/Strength and Conditioning Coach

Graeme completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology with honour and a Master of Science in exercise physiology from the University of Calgary. Graeme has worked as a strength coach with the University of Calgary Athletic Development Program, and within the provincial sport and college systems with the Alberta Sport Development Centre Northwest.

Since joining the Canadian Sport Institute Alberta full-time in 2013, Graeme has provided coaching and mentoring in the talent development space and led quality assurance initiatives in the Strength & Power Laboratory. Currently, he also focuses on sport science initiatives across a range of disciplines and teams.

Graeme has worked with several athletes that have been seriously impacted by injuries and fuels on helping them regain health and return to sport at a high level. In his spare time, Graeme enjoys growing beets and playing with his dog in the mountains, preferably while on bikes or skis.
