Marianne Portelance  BHPED

Coordinator, Performance Services

Marianne completed her Bachelor of Health and Physical Education from Mount Royal University. While completing her undergrad, Marianne spent time working as a personal trainer at the YMCA. She also volunteered her time as an events coordinator and health and safety plan developer for the Outlier Surf Club.

She joined the Canadian Sport Institute Alberta team in 2021 where she worked as a communications and marketing assistant. Since joining CSI Alberta, Marianne has gained valuable experience in translation, media collaboration, event planning and coordination.

Marianne spent her youth competing at the National level in long track speed skating for six years. Outside of the office you can find her either volunteering her time at local sporting events, or in the mountains enjoying various outdoor activities.
