Nathaniel is a strength and conditioning coach at the Canadian Sport Institute Calgary and a graduate student in Biomechanics at the University of Calgary.
Nathaniel’s research focuses on techniques to restore and monitor muscle strength and power after ACL injury in elite athletes. His current research involves different types of neuromuscular testing including isometric strength testing and ultrasound imaging to evaluate the structure and function of the hamstring muscles following surgery.
He currently trains athletes with the Men’s National Alpine Ski Team, the Women’s National Hockey Team, and the Alberta Provincial Alpine/Ski Cross Teams.
In his spare time, Nathaniel plays soccer (semi) competitively and is a huge Toronto Raptors fan.
