Dave Holland

Dave Holland B.SC

Photographer/ Editor

After completing a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta, Dave worked in the oil and gas providing regulatory and health and safety consultation to industry leaders. Though he was in a completely different world, he always kept an eye on elite amateur sport, spending most of his holiday time traveling to international events supporting our athletes in competition.

In 2013 Dave had the opportunity to work as a photography at the Sochi Olympic and Paralympic Games, so he took a leap of faith, left his downtown job and began working in sport full time cataloging Canada’s best athletes. He has never looked back and has since been to countless World Cups and World Championships, two Olympic and four Paralympic Games. Recently back from the Pan Am and Para Pan Am Games, Dave is now planning for Tokyo 2020.

In addition to photography, Dave is a videographer, editor and a social media content creator. He is an award-winning photographer, having captured the gold medal for Canada at the inaugural World Photographic Cup in 2014. Dave has also authored a book on the history of Canada at the world hockey championships.
