Kevin Wagner

Physiotherapist

Kevin returns to CSIAB after spending the last seven years working with the Calgary Flames as a Rehabilitation and Sport Physiotherapy consultant. Possessing over 30 years of experience in high performance and elite sport, Kevin has worked with athletes and teams from the provincial and national levels, up to the professional level, spending time with organizations such as Hockey Canada, Canada Soccer, the Edmonton Elks and the Ottawa Senators.

Educationally, Kevin completed degrees at the University of Alberta in Athletic Training and Conditioning and Physiotherapy, has completed a Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy and is a Certified Athletic Therapist. He has taken advanced training in many therapeutic skills including manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture and Intermuscular stimulation.

Kevin continues to pursue personal and professional development, recently completing a Post-Graduate Certificate in Global Leadership from Royal Roads University, and beginning a Masters of Clinical Science at the University of Western Ontario.

Justin Warsylewicz

Justin Warsylewicz BSc, RMT, CSCS 

Massage Therapist

Justin Warsylewicz is a former Canadian National Team speed skater. His career highlights include winning a Silver Medal in the Team Pursuit at the Turin 2006 Olympic Games, competing in 12 World Championships, and being crowned 2004 Junior World Champion.

Once Justin completed his athletic career, he graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Exercise and Health Physiology Major), became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and completed the 2200-hour Massage Therapy Diploma program through Mount Royal University.

In addition, Justin is the proud father of two children and spends most of his free time with his family exploring the great outdoors.

Mark Jesney

Mark Jesney MSc.PT, BSc.Kin, CAFCI, FDN

Physiotherapist

Mark completed his Master of Science in physiotherapy in 2011 from the University of Alberta. He also holds certifications in spinal manipulation, anatomical acupuncture, and functional dry needling. Mark is a former long track speed skating national team member. He suffered a significant knee injury during his career and received quality care that allowed him to successfully return to sport. This motivated him to stay involved in high performance sport and help others accomplish their goals while representing Canada.


He began his career working in private practice orthopedics and neurorehabilitation at the Foothills Hospital. In 2014, Mark joined the University of Calgary Sport Medicine Centre and went back to his roots as he joined the speed skating team as a member of the integrated support team. He has provided care to junior and senior speed skaters at numerous World Cups and World Championships. Mark’s expertise includes hip, knee and return to sport rehabilitation as well as manual therapy.

Mark is originally from Saskatoon Saskatchewan and moved to Calgary in 1998 to train at the Olympic Oval. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 young boys, skiing, mountain biking, climbing and cooking.
