Paige Wyatt

Paige Wyatt RD, BSc. 

Performance Dietitian

Paige graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. In 2019, Paige completed her dietetic internship and moved to Calgary.

Growing up in a small town gave Paige the opportunity to get involved in a variety of different sports. She has always loved the opportunities that sport gave her to develop athletically and personally. With her passion rooted in sports Paige knew she wanted a career that uses a collaborative approach to help athletes develop and grow to reach their highest level of performance.

Paige is currently pursuing her Master of Science at the University of Calgary in the Faculty of Kinesiology. Her research focuses on bone health of athletes using high resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography.

Kelly Anne Erdman

KellyAnne Erdman MSc, RD, CSSD

Performance Dietitian

Kelly Anne completed her Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and her undergraduate nutrition degree from the University of Calgary. She is one of the original fours, having been with the Canadian Sport Institute Alberta since inception in 1994. Kelly Anne has the unique designation as a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics.

Kelly Anne’s areas of expertise include: training diet, competition nutrition, sport supplementation, adjusting body composition, managing food allergies and intolerances, as well as other dietary constraints athletes may have, such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome. She is always finding new ways to make an athlete’s diet simple yet effective based on an individual basis. She enjoys collaborating with other performance specialists to help understand what athletes’ need in order to achieve excellence. 

Kelly Anne was the performance dietitian for team Canada at the 2011 Pan American Games, the London 2012 Olympics and the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games. She works with several national teams such as speed skating, women’s hockey, men’s para-hockey and paralympic cyclists.

Originally from Edmonton, Kelly moved to Calgary after the 1988 Winter Olympics to work as a sport dietitian. Kelly is a 1992 Cycling Olympian from road and track cycling. She is also a proud mother of two active young adults who have had success in both their sport and studies.

Kelly Drager

Kelly Drager MSc, CSSD, ISAK Level 1

Lead Performance Dietitian

Kelly holds a Masters of Science in exercise physiology and biochemistry where she studied the Female Athlete Triad and compared energy availability of female athletes and non-athletes. She is also a board certified specialist in sport dietetics.

Kelly’s expertise includes nutrition management for injuries, sport supplement navigation, assessment and monitoring of athletes’ nutrient needs and energy deficiency in order to meet training demands and nutrition YTP development. She currently works with the wrestling, figure skating, alpine, cross-country, biathlon and para-nordic National teams as well as the ski cross NextGen team.

Originally from Lougheed, Alberta, Kelly grew up on a small farm. She now spends her spare time rock climbing and dog training her two Labradors.
